Speakers corner and jamming with plants at Shambala!
Firstly ,on the 21st,we will be doing a practice session with the Plantwaves at Cousin Normans in Chippenham
And then at Shambala music festival on the 29th, We will be doing the speakers corner with a microphone, a sign reading amplify your voice, and quite a lot of passion! Anyone can speak at the corner...we just want to make sure young peoples voices are heard. And the following day, (also at Shambala)on the 30th, we have...
(this is the description from the Shambala website.) "Join the Early Earth Protectors for a playful and curious session exploring sound, nature, and connection through Plantwave technology — devices that translate electrical signals from plants into musical notes and soundscapes.Together we’ll experiment with connecting different plants and leaves to the devices, listening to the unique sounds they create and inviting live improvisation with acoustic instruments along the way. Expect gentle collective jamming, curiosity, conversation, and a chance to experience the living world in a completely different way."

The Early Earth protectors and Chippenham Pride will soon be holding a Proud Ecology Walk with the Ecologist and nature guide Connor Butler .Connor will be educating us on Queerness within the natural world and challenging what is deemed "Natural" and "Unnatural". It will be an interactive and inspiring walk, following up with a chaos quiz with Chippenham Pride and a Zine workshop with the Early Earth Protectors, held at Cousin Normans with delicious free food. Anyone can come for the walk on the 2nd of September meeting at 6.15pm (we don't know where we are meeting for the walk yet but we will follow up on that!)
